October Club Member Meeting Minutes from October 11th, 2018 at 6:30PM

There were ~29 members present.

The meeting was held at Mountain View Church of Christ in Colorado Springs CO.

Before the buffet line was opened, Bob conducted a short meeting.

Shirley Weaver began by presenting her Treasurers Report. We have $3840.86 in Checking and $2685.20 in Savings for a total club funds of $6576.06.

Bob then introduced the existing 2018 Board Members and the Board Members for 2019.

The Board Members for 2019 are as follows;
Continuing Members; Bob Oatman and Allen Burbidge.
Re-elected Members; Shirley Weaver and Tom Taylor.
New Members; Bev Kratzer and Dean Beukema.

Officer Positions will be determined at the next board meeting.

He then went on to describe that the success of our club is only due to the volunteers that help in many ways. A listing of ways to volunteer was displayed followed by a listing of people that had volunteered during 2018. This was followed by a round of applause. Bob then specifically pointed out two volunteers that stood out above the rest. They had each helped with all but one workshop. These individuals were Bev Kratzer and Tony D’Amico. Hats with our club logo on them were presented to them. Bev received hers, but Tony was not present, so Bob will get his to him later.

The October Meeting is designated as the end of year “Picnic”, so the buffet line was opened for the BBQ dinner. We had purchased 8 lbs. of pulled pork and pulled beef and there were about 5 lbs. of each left over. We had purchased 24 pieces of chicken (16 crispy and 8 baked). There were 2 of each left over.
