Joe
has two ponds, the front yard lily pond, was built in 1998.
There are three very small upper ponds used for bird baths. Many
birds visit every day to enjoy the fresh water. Joe wanted to be in the 2001
pont tour but had to withdraw at the last minute. He is still featured here so
you can see what you missed.
The back pond was built in 1997. A Grizzly Bear
overlooks a waterfall and a stream, which flows to the bigger pond. The pond
is shaded by Aspen trees and a large ash tree. A large number of goldfish and
shubunkins call this back pond home.
A
lotus stands along the side the back pond in a whiskey barrel. These
barrels make great additions to a back yard pond. Easy to position and plant,
you can pick one up at many retail outlets.
This
is a backyard bird bath that will defiantly catch your eye. A small water pump
pushes water thru the center of this multi-colored bowling ball. The water flows
over the surface of the ball into the bird bath. The bowling ball shimmers as
the water slides down.
