This water garden is visited by
birds and brightly colored dragonflies as they enjoy the circulating water at
the far end of the pond. The large, free form pond is divided in an attempt to
keep the Koi away from the lilies. The water leaves a stream from a small upper
pond containing marginal plants and flows over a waterfall, back into the Koi pond.
The lily side of the pond contains many different, colorful hardy lilies. In addition to
many varieties of iris, cattails, and other bog plants. A piece of driftwood
accents the pond.
The
lily pond contains many different types of water
plants. The water flows from this pond back into the lower Koi Pond.
Bob and Barbara were on the 2000 pond tour.
